Games With Songs

Just a quick post for now to draw people’s attention to my two new pages, which can be found in the panel to the right of this blog.  The games are described in detail on the relevant pages, but in brief they are as follows:

 Stuttering Songs: Find as many songs as possible with stuttered lyrics (example: You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet by Bachman Turner Overdrive).

Pregnant Pauses: Find as many songs as possible with breaks in them that are devoid of music and lyrics (example: All I Really Want by Alanis Morissette).

Having done a web search this morning I see that a Stuttering Songs list is not a new idea (though it is some years since my old boss and I came up with it, independently of anyone else – honest!).  If I add any songs to my list that are on other lists (that is songs that I didn’t think of for myself) then I shall give the appropriate credit and link.

I couldn’t find any other pages that have a “Pregnant Pauses” sort of game, so I will proceed under the illusion that it is a new idea.  Any songs that people can think of will be added with due credit.  The list is a bit sparse at the moment, but I’m sure there are plenty of others, so feel free to drop me a comment.
